I entered a photograph into the Badin Hall Art Show at Notre Dame and it was chosen as the 2nd place
winner among all the various pieces. My photograph was a hybrid of film and digital photography in that
it was photographed on 35mm black and white film and then scanned into a computer. From there, I was able to digitally airbrush out
dust and elongate the sides of the photo. Also, I digitally enhanced the fake plastic guns to create the appearance of a barrel. Finally, I removed
a reflection of the tripod from the subject's sunglasses
Scholastic Art Show
During my senior year of high school, I entered three of my films into the regional Scholastic art show.
Both Frankenstein and 24 received the
highest honor: a gold key. Additionally, an article was written in the local newspaper about my work.
